This trumpet was a like-new Bach Chicago C trumpet traded in to the shop that we then sent to Fred Powell to give his Cameo treatment. Fred put his own leadpipe and trim on the horn, as well as adding saturn water keys to the tuning slide and 3rd-valve slide. He also stripped and replated the horn, adjusted bracing, and did other tweaks to really make this horn sing. A brilliant, commanding sound suitable for the orchestral player and soloist alike. Intonation, response, and evenness of tone is excellent.
